KUKA AG - one of the world's leading robotics companies - suffered a massive decline in turnover of over 30% during the economic crisis in 2009. With a holistic value creation programme led by Walter Bickel as COO/CRO, the turnaround has been achieved. The share price rose from € 6 to € 36 during this time. Walter Bickel continued to be represented on the supervisory board after the COO mandate ended.
From 2020 to 2023, the Bickel & Company team managed the transformation of Syntegon Technology GmbH (carve-out from Robert Bosch GmbH), a global provider of process and packaging technology, with Walter Bickel in the position of CTO. From May 2020 to November 2022, Walter Bickel also took on the role of CFO. The focus was on a comprehensive value creation plan with which a significant and sustainable increase in company value could be achieved.
